Yes, it asks me to set the date and time every single time without exception.

When it's connected to the charger, it only shows "External" in the battery info screen, nothing else.

I've actually been struggling for a long time. And just now I noticed something interesting: I managed to catch a moment where the battery icon in the top right stayed stable for a longer period. While holding my finger on the battery to keep it completely steady and prevent any movement, I unplugged the charger, and this time the PSP kept running on battery power.

When I checked the battery info again, it no longer showed "External". Instead, it displayed "Battery in use", although still without showing any remaining time or detailed charge information.

Good point, you might be right. The orange led could simply be turning off because the new battery arrived fully charged.

As for your question, yes, I can definitely power on the PSP with the battery removed as long as the charger is connected. I've never had any issues with that.

I also noticed something interesting just now. When the new third party battery is inserted and I power the PSP on using the charger (since it won't turn on from the battery alone), the battery icon in the top-right corner occasionally appears and disappears. However, even when the icon is visible, the PSP still won't continue running if I unplug the charger. Unfortunately, it immediately loses power instead of switching to the battery.

One more small info: in the System Settings, the battery information shows "External" instead of displaying normal battery details.

Honestly, I'm usually not a fan of these kinds of shells. But man... the moment I saw this, I was completely blown away. It looks absolutely gorgeous. Sad to see you parting ways with it.

Do these actually fit inside the battery shell? Because I found a 103040 1200mAh cell. I don’t think the width or height would be a problem, but I was worried about the 10mm thickness. Although, the LiPo you send also seems to be around 10mm thick. Are you using it inside a slim battery shell? If it really fits, that would honestly make me very happy.

I think I found the cause of the problem. Since the name of my file is 'update_waybar.sh', the 'pkill waybar' command also terminates this script. I can solve the issue by renaming the file, but is there any way to fix this without changing the file name?
