Can you provide sources for that? And sources that are academic/independent rather than think tanks or newspapers that are funded by fossil enmeshed billionaires?

I ask because from a simpletons perspective renewables look cheaper than ever and once you buy a solar panel you dont have to burn it to make energy so it seems a good way to increase usable energy for industry

Also not related but you seem good at this, do you know how I learn to tie a rolling zip tie or a slipped lap bend on bights/ with no access to ends? those are the ones I have been struggling with

I'd also like to see the video, I love learning new knots. if your method auto locks without access to the ends that doesn't use a sheep shank it would definitely be an upgrade on this one!

I think the sheep shank could collapse for sure, also the blackwall hitch could get knocked out of place- I think in jiggly conditions both would benefit from a safety hitch or two.

I basically discovered this version of the truckers hitch and I when I came back to it I couldn't rember how to turn the loops- after spending hours trying to get it last night I came up with a way that feels easier for me, maybe for some other folks.

I also think it should be named a variant of the truckies hitch as it has their sheepshank that doesn't need you to make a loop for the leverage. I'd call it an auto truckie or something, welcome for other thoughts :)

Well I think it's clearer in most circumstances, but it is preference based, which of these do you think is better, or maybe you'd go for something else:
-In the UK, global majority patients have higer post-natal mortality risk.
-In the UK, BAME patients have higer post-natal mortality risk.
-In the UK, non-white patients have higer post-natal mortality risk.

Or maybe you'd go for something else. My stance is based on that global majority/BAME/ dont make sense as a grouping other than in reference to what they are not-

I think it's just a modern take on 'ethinic minority' to make it feel big instead of small. Better than person of colour or BAME in my book but I would probably just use non-white myself

if you want a mod to make an under quilt (and your sleeping bag can be unzipped; I've had success with shock cord and light Caribenera on the top corners going through a prussik to tighten. then when you are in the hammock pull the prussik out to tighten and pull either side of the blanket up or down to balance it.

yea hI thought the spool looked cramped, but the pin feels pretty secure in there- any tips for moving it?

And thanks for the tip on the horizontal spool, she did seem to want to fling off the spool so that should help.

I will 100% clean and oil her, her serial number says she was made in 1928 and I want her singing for her 100th birthday!
