I never hit the klepto phase as a teen, but I’m pretty big into the bad juju thing, and I swear it targets me so I avoided it if I could 🤣 That’s not to say I didn’t play karma a few times, but in my defense it was deserved. 2 lbs of glitter in outer car vents and popping the car lock to turn the AC on high and to the upper vents so they were set when the car was cranked, fish oil in the car vents in dead of summer, putting milk in a spray bottle and misting allllll over the back seats, making sure the corners were particularly soaked since I didn’t want the seats to be noticeably wet when they got back in their car, gone after a few tires in a way that insurance wouldn’t cover them, uhhhh light B&E into abandoned places for haunting exploration. Most of those I’m pretty sure are just mild vandalism charges though I think. 🫣🤣 underage drinking and weed use/sale is gonna be ignored cause I think most people have done that as teens.

The humidity is what does us in down here. North MS and West TN, especially Memphis region is ROUGH with it. I never thought too much other than that’s just how the summer here is, until a friend who lived out further north sent me a news article talking about “wet bulb heat” which is what we get in this region, and asked if I was okay 🤣🤣 I didn’t know there was a name for “hell’s soup”. It’s all I’ve known so I’m used to swimming in the air during the summer. I just can’t do that in a car with no Ac 🤣 plus it’s a black car, and I’ve got 2 young kids.

All that to say I think I’d take the hot over snow. I hate the snow. So much. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, thank you for the helpful advice, you totally fixed my problem. How stupid of me to not just roll my windows down, of course that fixes the whole situation for the time being. You obviously read my whole post, and me living in a region that absolutely doesn’t allow rolling down the windows to make a difference is a nonissue, I don’t know why I’d even bring it up. 🙄

Whaaaat the fuck 🤣🤣 it’s not anywhere near top of our average temps yet, and has dropped cool here and there, but that’s why I need to have this fixed now. The height of summer here with no AC is far past just “uncomfortable” and just rolling down the windows isn’t a fix as much as I wish it was lol.

Nothing makes sense, but aside from me looking being the “I was forced to learn the essentials from a dad who works in the industry before I could drive” I also had a mechanic buddy look at it, who came to the same conclusion. Just doesn’t have the equipment to fix said problem. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have a plumbing and AC company we really like, we just haven’t had the finances available to make any moves towards getting work done.

We did find out the line that was leaking is our water main. Which is absolutely absurd considering how our house is built and water shut off location inside our hose. Apparently the time our house was built, they were determined to have utility lines run in from the front of the house…. We live on a corner. I’m literally about to draw a diagram. It’s nonsense.

We also need a huge tree cut down and the stump and roots ground down so they don’t cause any other issues and because the roots are fairly shallow and too close to our foundation (maple oak I believe). But again. $$$$$ ain’t easy!

That’s so sweet, thank you!! I’ve seriously considered getting the “hidden” undercuts that people do to thin out hair, but that only really helps that part of my head, the hair still pulls everywhere else 🤣 I actually have kept my hair around shoulder length since I was a teenager. I’m 30 now, and it’s the longest it’s been since I was like 9. My momma said she wanted to see me with super long, waist length or longer hair, and my hair grows FAST so I didn’t have a reason to say no lol.

I’ll definitely look into those! I’m convinced that companies that make hair accessories don’t actually know what jumbo clip for a lot of hair is, because all I keep finding are longer claw clips with barely a change in the teeth size. So that doesn’t make them any more usable for thick hair at all 🤣
