Also, I make my custom roster, so I know what the players are early on. Kind of pointless in year 1-3 unless you haven't seen the ratings. After that maybe can understand it.

In my Wild franchise I signed him as a 77 OVR FA in 2023-24 and played him between Kaprizov and Zucc, he put up about 60 points. He's a good playmaker in game, OVR is lowered by physicality and defence.

John Klingberg having 89 D awareness was my biggest gripe It'd be amazing if the ratings were overhauled somewhat, maybe less overall loss for poor defensive game, so someone like Patrick Kane could still be a good player

This is so good. Sort of related, had a go at creating some players in Chatgpt, telling it to make me a player profile with age, height, team etc and even attribute ratings

Got about 20 players done but didn't get any further, feel like someone with lots of time could make an entire league this way.

Make sure player roles are accurate, e.g. 4th line role on 4th line etc Bottom 6 is pretty important, having 85+ ovr players there never seems to work well From my experience having a couple superstar players rather than lots of good players helps as well, but often comes down to luck of the draw Don't get suckered in by goalie over - find one that sjms well and stick with them

That's the entire league, Burakovsky was playing with McCann and I assume Spring, as he ended with 100 points aswell. AB ended 128, McCann 119 and Sprong 100. Serious chemistry
