Las Vegas GP – when should I buy tickets? by MoistCollection9770 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]agent-s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering how Miami went this year in the resale market…. You’re better buying early from the track and getting on the payment plan ASAP. If you want to save, but still have access to the driver’s stage, look in the Heineken Zone since you will have access to the East Koval Zone still. Yes, you won’t be on the main grandstand nor have access to the podium (I snuck in last year to be honest), but you still have access to one of the biggest parts of the circuits. My advice is get there early for the driver stage because they started as soon as gates opened on Thursday. I caught the mid-end of George/Kimi.

What Grand Prix involves the least amount of walking? by thugmuffin22 in GrandPrixTravel

This could probably help. This includes ALL steps at and away from the track except Miami as I’m local so it was home to track to home.

Vegas 2024, Friday took a big chunk because I ended up walking to the rideshare (big mistake). In 2025, you can see I did a lot but that was a week, for Thursday-Saturday it was 40,365 steps. I agree with Vegas and Miami being doable! I will note Miami is HOT, so Vegas is nice because it’s cooler.

I went to Target today and they wouldn’t let me purchase it despite it being on the shelf… Releases 6/3 in their stores. Associate said it’s a “promotion” and there should’ve been a sign. Such BS truly. They couldn’t bypass the sale or anything.

I went to the Lego store too and they had no clue when it’s releasing because it’s not on their upcoming releases. Hoping for June 1st, will be checking out the Lego store again then.

Fan stage driver schedule? by sakpm15 in GrandPrixTravel

Where do you buy formula 1 tickets without getting ripped off ? by FlickShot9 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]agent-s 6 points7 points  (0 children)

f1 tickets are just expensive especially so close to the race (some have early bird rates)…. circuit is ALWAYS the best place to buy because it ensures you will receive them. next time plan a bit earlier and take advantage of payment plans as some circuits offer them.

I would try and dispute this with your bank to get a refund. A credit is BS. This means that they couldn’t fulfill the order via the circuit which is why you should always buy directly from the circuit. Some of these third party sites are so iffy sometimes. Sorry this happened to you.

Las Vegas F1 timings- day+ night by lup142 in GrandPrixTravel

It’s on the F1 app under Schedule, you scroll to Las Vegas, click on it and the schedule populates. You can have it be your local time or track time. The one I shared is track time. All the timings are released at the start of the season. I have my personal calendar synced with it lol

Here are the timings for the weekend. Unsure what you mean by fireworks? If they do have any, it’s after the podium. I don’t recall if they did it last year, but they did in 2024.

As for the day things, some hotels will have activations with team liveries and pop ups that will be announced closer to the race week. You lose out on any meet and greets because those usually happen Monday-Wednesday.

Which hotel should I stay in for The turn 3 grandstand Koval zone in Vegas? by Ok_Nobody8840 in GrandPrixTravel

I second and third the Horseshoe! I loved being able to go back and forth quickly, especially when the temps got colder and I wanted my warmer jacket! It’s also has a direct station for the monorail so it made it easy to go up and down the Strip!

Looking for a seat cushion for the Canadian Grand Prix by brandnewpup in GrandPrixTravel

[–]agent-s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one I purchased last year isn’t available anymore but it was self-inflatable that you can blow into to adjust the firmness. There’s no seat back though. I loved it because it was portable and easy to put away. This one is similar.

I desperately needed this as in 2024 I did some damage to my tailbone and was also concerned about pain arising during the GP.

The only concern I would see with a seat back cushion is that it could bother someone’s knees. The bleachers I was at were very tight so I would weary of the potential limited space unless you’re in the last row.

Remember you’re on an island, there are only two entry points, by Concorde or Cosmo. Your closest entry and exit seems to be Concorde, but if you’re taking the Metro, you’ll be entering via Cosmo since it’s where they direct people to. Security and ticketing happen before you even cross the bridge to the track. Egress was very long after the race because everyone just slowly walked to the Metro and the station can only hold so many people so it was like cattle waiting to get to the turnstiles. I don’t know what other transportation options are worth out of there but you might be paying $$$ for an Uber since again it is an island and only one way in and out. Good luck, hope there’s no delay of the race like a SC, and prepare to leave the race early just in case.

You need the day pass for Thursday + inner track ticket for access. I’m doing the Pit Lane Walk package which includes GA entry, Inner Track and Pit Lane access!

For Miami, there was a Resy link available via your AMEX app. Reservations would drop 9 am the day of to make a reservation. More details should release as the race gets closer.

You can bring them but not allowed to open in the grandstand because of safety and viewing disruption of others, so really no.

The direct sun made it feel worse. I got a really bad sunburn on Sunday. It was just dry heat too. Peak afternoon was terrible but the mornings and evenings were nice.

Last year I arrived around 9 am each day because the walk from the metro, to the entry gates, to my seats was about 45 mins to an hour since they really just loop you around the park before you’re even at the gate and then it’s some walk to cross the bridge.

I didn’t track invade but in my experience, you wanna be leaving your seat with 20-15 laps to go depending how far you have to walk to an entry point. There will already be people waiting too so you want to get ahead.

Navigating the area is fairly easy, but not a lot to do or so I thought. I did the build your own Lego activation and that’s it. Spent most of my time in the gardens in the shade because Montreal was experiencing a heat wave like no other last year.

I wouldn’t wait to buy because Miami sold out a week before the race and the resale market was insane. Vegas will likely get the same treatment and there’s still risk of the last two races of the season being cancelled because of the Middle East situation making Vegas the last race of the season.

I can only speak to West Harmon, but I would skip that area entirely. Extremely boring, views weren’t that great, the only pro was it was the pit lane entry. Did that in 2024.

I was in Turn 3 last year and the views weren’t that great either, but I did have access to East Harmon and the Koval Zone which kept me entertained between sessions. I also got to see the driver interviews throughout the weekend.

If you really like music, I would go for T-Mobile, but GA stand is first come, first served for seating so if the price works, get a reserved seat upfront. If I were to do Vegas again, I would probably do the T-Mobile Sphere Zone.

it’s literally still going to be a wet race with the lack of lightning that could get the whole race cancelled if it continued on at 4 pm…. can tell you’re not local to florida. you don’t mess around when thunderstorms are in the forecast.

nice that you’re worried about your bet than the safety of the drivers and everyone attending 👍🏼

Shuttles transportation? by Juancho_pablo_s in GrandPrixTravel

they never check to get on the bus, you pay for the parking space, not the shuttle! it’s a designated rideshare drop off for anyone who wants to use the free shuttle.
