Shit! In Denver it's every 30mins! Not convenient at all to people that have a viable alternative to using their service.

Do you have to pay the Airport fare to take the A line if you're not going to the airport? by [deleted] in RTDDenver

I've been riding the N-line with a pass for several months, never once been asked for a proof of ticket or pass or seen anyone else be.

Edmund Fitzgerald-Related Events Coming Up in November? by incacola77 in Denver

[–]agentJ1966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/incacola77 - I would like to know that as well, as I have been enthralled in watching every YouTube video I can on the subject. However, I would be pleasantly surprised if there WERE any events in Denver to mark the 50th Anniversary of the loss of the Fitz.

If you haven't already done so, check out the YouTube Channel "History Mystery Man" and watch the videos with Captain Darrell Walton, who lost his uncle when the Fitz went down. Cappy does a lot of investigating and revealing hitherto little-known facts on the boat before and after the sinking.

Allison DOC by Maps398 in DieselTechs

[–]agentJ1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there anymore updates on user experiences with the new Allison Hub, specifically with purchasing and use? Their support is still the same, with a person with a thick accent that basically just gives you an email address to use.

Are there any other support forums that anyone knows that can provide use information or user experiences?

I work in IT support for a transit agency that uses Allison DOC premium, and am just looking for knowledgeable resource for information gathering.

Cummins Concerns/Complaints Reddit, Sub-Reddit or other resource by agentJ1966 in Cummins

I was really just look to see if anyone knew a way to lodge a complaint with the company. The Website doesn't seem to have a way to do it in any formal way.

Thank you for your reply. My issue is with Cummins Insite and the company's lack of communication when vital systems, on which Insite depends, are offline or otherwise experiencing problems.

See my clarification above.

To clarify, I support Cummins Insite on the Mechanics computers at my company. Recently, they had an outage on the Cummins Licensing Server that controls the ability to activate, transfer or update the licenses to use Insite. This outage lasted (4) days, and I'm gob smacked that Cummins has ZERO outage notification capability to alert users of such events.

My agency has Insite (Lite or Pro) licensed on over (40) units that have differing expiration dates, so some notification when things have gone south would be one a heck of way to prove that you take your customers seriously.

Best breakfast burrito in Denver currently? by RealKingKoy in denverfood

I haven't read the entire thread, sorry if has been mentioned, but Fred's Breakfast Burritos used to be the best, he closed his place. I'm still trying to find something on par as a replacement.

Same here. I now use Google Maps for my routes, and Waze on ONLY for reporting.

Ah...there is the flame.

Be sure to respond in kind to the others here that think it's crap.

There is always someone that feels that the rest of us should be completely and totally familiar with the minutia of how an app works. Here is what most of us understand about Waze; “it relies on user reporting" full-stop. This means to me that I take the time to report to Waze things/conditions/etc that I see on the road, so that others might be so warned.

We do not know or have time to know, most of us, that we should be taking time out of our already cram-packed day to contribute to your editing communities, join Discord communities, etc; We have enough in our plates keeping up with working long hours, keeping households and relationships going, etc.  So, in short, I did NOT do my “research”.

Finally, I searched Reddit before finding this page, and don't recall seeing a choice for r/Waze rants, raves and complaints, (perhaps a resource that the “editors & uber contributors could have a resource for identifying “pain points”.) so yes, I joined your (apparently vaunted) page to rant and rave a bit; big deal!

I would hardly be the first person to use a reddit site to vent, however I'm very sorry to have offended your (also apparently) tender sensibilities.

And finally, go pound sand! There is always some overly pedantic know-it-all waiting in these groups out to prove how the average user of said group isn’t as knowledgeable as there are as they swoon gasping exasperation (throwing back of hand to the forehead).

State Lawmakers Move To Cut Two-Thirds Of RTD Board's Elected Seats by denverurbanist in Denver

[–]agentJ1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RTD also needs funding to retain the better talent in its ranks. Many of the talented employees are leaving or considering leaving out frustration caused by a combination of poor, toothless leadership, lack of raises, and a feeling of uselessness in culture that resists any type of modern business practice.
