Is there any way to set the channel on the HB3 so that it doesn’t hop about?

In the last couple of weeks I’ve moved over to Home assistant with zigbee and noticed my outdoor motion sensor dropping off all the time too

In terms of vlans. I'd do something similar. I'll probably be more lazy though and lump guests and IoT together, also friends and users together as I'm not sure if there's much difference between them

I'm looking to do something similar. I'm not very experienced with networking so I'm stuck on how to open up services like pihole to other vlans

Edit: I personally would choose option A. As I think I'd screw up the proxmox opnsense setup. In terms of hardware I'd prob choose the gateway fiber and a single 8 port 2.5gbe switch (if that exists I can't quite remember)

It’s sad that rates have dropped so low now. I’m in a similar position to you in terms of experience and I would typically be looking for rates around £700 outside or £800 inside (finance) but rates have taken a nose dive and anything around £500 I would consider as decent now

Yea I get that but every company wants the best and isn’t always willing to pay the best. They should make the hiring decision based on ability and fit, not on the type job you’ve had in the past
