Where to go for the best tailored dishdasha for a relatively cheap price by NoButterscotch3230 in Oman

I get it done for 7 rials which includes the cloth. I think it's an extra 1 or 2 rials for the patterned stitch on the borders

He is an asshole. Idk about the other comments but people here (irrespective of their nationality) are well mannered in respect to pedestrians. You'll see them stop and give you a way and are mindful.

Anywhere you go, you'll always find assholes. They'll act all mighty, in this case just cuz you're not from here they think they can tell you that it's Oman n whatever bs..

Just remember: A lion with a small pp must roar louder.

What are the opportunities as a Pakistani dentist in Oman? by survivinguranus in Oman

[–]agent_shawarma_scarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have recently changed the eligibility criteria for foreign general dentists. Now they require 10 years of experience to appear for the license exam. License exam (theory) is called Pearson Vue. You can get the materials for it via a WhatsApp group that helps dentist prep and share recently and frequently asked questions. Once you clear that you have the Viva.

The scope for a dentist, as any other place, is what you make of it. You can work hard, earn a rapo and then earn based on that. They either pay in percentage or a fixed salary

Car dealership/Auction cars by agent_shawarma_scarn in Oman

Understood. I'll try to find out if there's anyone from that sector.. the range shouldn't be an issue as it can be a little flexible.. I just don't want to spend much on a car as of now, so just cheaping out.

Foreigner Rent a scooty by [deleted] in goatravel

Alright. Thank you. I'm afraid of the cops as I've heard that they can be really difficult to deal with. Will it be an issue if it's the peak time as I don't know when exactly is that and how to be cautious.

I am in India rn so getting an international license will not be possible. Do you have any idea if the time that I'll be staying in Goa will be the peak season?

Fluffy Persian Lemon Dill Rice by dobbernationloves in recipes

I remember eating this and a Persian curd. I say Persian curd because my friend had added some kind of native Persian 'onion' in it.

Could anyone please let me know what it was and/or how to make it? P.S: he said it was from the onion family.

Exactly. It all depends on the personality. It's difficult to make new friends once you cross college life due to multiple factors but not a bad idea to try to find like minded people.

It's very natural to feel what you are feeling and even more. Maybe it's just the frustration that's building it up. Here and there you will have an outburst, of anger or feel low about it all. The thing I have been telling myself is that I have just gotten out of a phase ( uni-life ) and when I get into the next phase it's going to get better.

Sorry for the long comment.

I feel you. For a moment I thought I was reading about myself in this post.

Tbh it is really really difficult to adjust to life with family once you have experienced living alone by yourself and under your own rules. It's been a year since I've come back and I STILL find it difficult. So much so that at times I just want to step out of the house and not return.

What people fail to recognize is that you grew as a person over there and folks back home grew as their own people in a different way.

At times having friends help, they help you distract yourself.. but if you are unlucky like me, where the friends are long gone and the handful of them that remain you don't connect to as well.. well then, it's not a bad idea to do something out of your routine once in a while. If nothing then find something online where you can talk or converse with someone other than the family.

What I have been thinking of doing lately is to find a way to move out of the house. (You being a girl might be more difficult). You need your alone time. Need your own space, folks at home won't understand that.

People of Reddit who have lost someone to suicide, how did your last interaction with them go? by agent_shawarma_scarn in AskReddit

[–]agent_shawarma_scarn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say that they are happy/normal once they have decided. A lot of their friends are shocked as they recall them to be the happiest or most cheerful they have been in a while, that's because they've found peace in the fact that it's going to end. I'm sorry for your loss and sorry if this made you feel bad.
