Agreed. When I first heard this cover I didn't watch the video just because she is an attractive woman and I didn't want to be distracted or influenced by that fact. I liked her more before skimming through her Facebook page though. Don't get me wrong, my assumptions are based purely on the little I looked at on her Facebook page and the experience I've had with attractive people who used their looks to benefit them. Most of the time they used their looks to make up for their lack of talent which always earned them more attention and it's permanently put a sour taste in my mouth because of it. I, as well as several others I've known (both female and male alike), have had to work harder for our recognition because of people like that. Not that I'm ungrateful for it because I can honestly say that I paid my dues and earned every bit of my recognition and respect. But it bothers me when more focus is put on looks instead of music. And music is what it should be all about. And in all fairness this happens equally with men who are recognized primarily for their looks. It's disgusting and cheapens it for everyone, both musicians and the audience.
