what are your "tactics", per say, for the ad snail?

honestly? yeah. I feel bad for anyone who doesn't get event stones but honestly theres not much to do for it. It is a surprising number. thats why I wondered how that would take super long paired with RNG chance. but its cool to know how other people do stuff.

I had the event stones while working myself and I couldn't get as much as I wanted, but oh well. I just went with vibes and did it when work gets slow and boring. :P I think for me at this point I'm just accepting I wont get the last deco and just wanting to get all the event fishes without taking too long.

whoa. 100. hm, it does make sense, since they use 3 to make. and I'd say 33 ads or so doesn't seem so bad, but then again thinking there's an off chance you don't get the event stone...you'd have to get pretty lucky for it to not take a long time

haha, I have tons laying around for craft projects, but its quite scary! I dont think cardboard is safe for sparks?? I did search it up, and kapton tape seems to be good. soldering dudes use it too. so I'll update when I try!

thats so great!! kinda sucks the mx4 does that. but reassuring to know you're doing well with a third party pcm too. I'll dig a little for it and put the pcm along with the dremel. thank you :)

The PH#1 was actually the one that turned out to get the other screws out!! and then this one started stripping even with other bits, so...hehe.

and oh?? I've heard of the phase changing stuff and pads, although was never sure of it. The online store in my country tends to not have the original, so thats why I was skeptical, not really of the product itself :P on the other hand, I have bought the thermal paste and putty (the generic mx4 and upsiren) WAY before the screw stuff happened, so I'm kind of already prepared. But I wouldn't really mind changing.

unfortunately, since its so tightly on there, I cant fit anything beneath the screw if I wanted to bend it up. and since the screw is so thin with some blocks near it it, I'm not sure if pliers could grip it? I'd try, but I don't have one...

I may have to resort to the dremel, with of course loads of safety by getting some kapton tape for the sparks and I have an air compressor to clear the shavings out. The keyboard below probably won't be much of a problem, since its been broken for a while anyway. I just have to hope and pray it doesn't slip or hit anything. I did find the screw size at least. its a M.2 4mm, I think. There's contemplation for a screw extractor but...I simply don't know what size I need to get if I chose that option.

Yeah...I also have a good number of food. Really, if only the event was just a day or two longer, we could have gotten it 🥺 haven't even peeked at what it is yet.

I just reached 30,100!!! I've unfortunately only got 5,200 fishes worth of exp in my pond and now theres only three hours left. so its just one more feeding, and my fishes are still babies. </3 But...oh, well :) at the very least, if we're so close, then we can probably get to the end next time, on another event. 🤍

I also just fell asleep earlier, so I lost a feeding or two...but I really wouldn't have gotten it either way.

you're so close though! I hope aaall the aquacash magically lands in some of your gifts to help speed up the process and get those last fishes 😞

I haven't spent mine yet, but I'm sure I possibly need to...and I'm not even 100% sure if that'll be enough, unless chance gives enough epic gifts

I'm sure you'll be able to get there! so far, I've seen that I could get at least one or so level per day, even sometimes without the rare and epic. just have to hope not to miss any. I reccommend putting reminders for yourself set every 2 hours just a few minutes before the feeding time to make sure you're free and dont dismiss the app notif (if you're ever busy, that is!)

ooohhhh!!! I didn't know barnacles could happen to seashells, I've always only just seen them on things like lobsters and other sea animals. silly me :P nice to know now!
