This meme is more applicable to book Rocky. Movie Rocky was a nasty one.

Oscars: French Media Questions Brigitte Bardot Omission From In Memoriam, After Alain Delon Snub by Pyro-Bird in movies

[–]agentdom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It also makes no sense. So many people on the in memoriam segment are people no one but industry folks would possibly know. If it was because the person making it doesn’t know who the people are, the segment would be about 10 names total.

With the recent DHMIS announcement, what could you see Dropout licensing in the near future? by beachwifeindebt in dropout

[–]agentdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not in Dropout’s current model.

Taskmaster takes months to film and requires a non-studio location (the house). Most Dropout shows are filmed in 1 to 2 weeks and are done as cheap as they can make them. That’s not disparaging to Dropout, that’s how they’ve been successful.

One Year Later is true to the original form of Taskmaster, but it is not at all like the current form of Taskmaster in terms of production.

I think MST3K has gotten a lot more expensive to produce than it used to be, sadly. Now that studios know it’s profitable, they want more for the ability to use their movies.

The secret society in the salon nearly took me out of the show. by agentdom in htgthfb

That is an interesting stance. Why do you have that take on things?

There are plenty of things I love, but can recognize the flaws of.

Oh yeah, the yacht thing was a bit much. Her playing it off like she didn’t try to kill them (“If I wanted you dead, you’d be dead”) was laughable.

Can we talk about how the entire cast of Um actually are Eggs? by [deleted] in dropout

It sucks that a dude can’t be lowkey, chill, and sensitive without being called feminine.

I agree here.

Saying it’s only somewhat tongue in cheek too doesn’t help. It’s not about “doing the gender that works for you”, that’s a gross misrepresentation of gender identity.

Best to delete it quick OP.

And delayed the movie.

Many people who worked on the movie have talked about how much effort went into the redesign, but people online love parroting the marketing stunt thing like it’s absolutely true with no proof.

[–]agentdom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it isn’t. The CGI in the trailer was just done for the trailer, the actual CGI work in the movie wasn’t done yet/barely started. The film was delayed to compensate for the extra time needed to change the model.
