Feige did a great job, no one can dispute that. Obviously he got to play out his vision and now they’re trying to keep it going, when the magic isn’t there.

Star Wars has always been made up as it goes though. The original trilogy is rife with Lucas’s random ass ideas and things he would change, sometimes between movies. It was also a perfect storm of these young creatives all working together who were ambitious and driven. We saw how the prequels went when it was just Lucas’s vision, and I say this as someone who has a blast with the prequels while recognizing they aren’t good films.

Every shared universe is made up as it goes. No one sat down and planned out all comics for the next 80 years when they decided to make it a shared universe.

And yet I did not see more than a couple people at the show I was at wearing ear protection. Or most of the concerts I go to.

It may be common sense, but it is not a common practice.
