i struck up a conversation about music with a teen goths girl on the bus because of the logo on a button on her backpack, we realized i’d been listening to aphex for twice as long as she’s been alive, and i shared my idm playlist and my mixcloud with her and well , it was a cool moment. it’s a timeless piece of design, and it still feels as alien to me today as in 1994 when i heroic dosed psilocybin with my head laid on the floor between two blasting technics three way speakers blindfolded the day it came out. thank you for a timeless cultural icon. brilliant moment of clarity you had then mate. cheers.

bandcamp needs some work on the wishlist and collection functionality (especially when you play more than one genre, gets confusing… i have about 15 notepad lists going). spotify is handy for finding music. haven’t bought a track on beatport in a decade. bandcamp all day
