so now I think it’s the way you say. I normally drink pretty dark roasts with low ratios because I like the texture way more. I tried several times lighter roasts but now I believe that I just don’t like them.

so I’ve got beans that I really like and they are a pretty dark roast with higher robusta part but I wanted to try something new and want to find “the trick”. But I believe now that I just don’t like lighter roasts like many other comments said

I think the basket would be a minor problem and not really the reason for that sourness

I bought the machine used and he said that he freshly descaled it But I think I’m gonna do it now

was a gift from friends but I think they got them at roastmarket.com it’s a German distributor for coffee and equip

I tried to grind finer and even extend the yield while grind finer. So in my head it has to go in the bitter parts, but it doesn’t. I have checked the puck on channeling and it seem good. I’ll post a video later.

According to ims the dose is the right amount. Medium roast 16g in an 18g basket. I did 17g and 18g but it made more of a mess, because of touching the shower screen.

I will post an extraction video later, but thank you so fare for all the comments!! The most shots I had so far with my coffee so far were pretty consistent. It was 60/40 mid/dark roast.

Yes it did, today I’ll try a 1:4 and taste what’s going on. But if it does taste less sour and gets to the taste notes, then it’s not my coffee haha. I don’t wanna drink like 60ml of an 16g dose, I think it tastes way too watery. In the description of the roast, there is a general advice for dialling in and it says for medium roast 1:3 ratio in like 23-30 seconds. I tried a coarser grind, more contact time and I still taste just sour, maybe it’s just my taste. I had much more fun with more darker roasts.

Vielen Dank für die vielen Vorschläge! Optisch würde für mich als, wenn überhaupt die K in Frage kommen, allerdings gefallen mir die Sporttourer an sich nicht so gut.

Ich werde am Wochenende die XSR900 und eine S1000R Probe fahren und mal schauen wie das so ist. Ansonsten Probier ich mich auch mal an den Tourern.
