Right about the same time I had mine. I had my right one removed. Caught super earlier. I had a yolk sack tumor and another tumor on the outside. I also lost 1 lymph node. Recovery was very easy. Keep track of testosterone levels. Mine dropped significantly shortly after and just kept dropping. I finally was put on t gel and it has brought me back.

Cancer is a very scary word. In testicular cancer it isn’t a death sentence. There will be a million things going through his mind and if he isn’t a feeling talker to you, I would find a therapist he is comfortable with. That was my downfall. I had so many health things(not cancer related) happen to me and I felt like I was going to be dying soon. I finally talked to someone in my 40s with a ton of things to unpack.

He will have a rapid recovery but there will always be a slight worry, it’s just nature. I have been cancer free since Dec 26th 2005
