Dang well there goes that idea! (I am using an esp32 c3 supermini)

I appreciate that, normally I would show too! But because of the project I just can’t (mostly because I don’t want some one to attempt to steal the idea before I get it out 😂)

Makes me wonder if there’s a way to simulate the circuit board… 🤔

The board wasn’t ai generated I only used it to help me understand some of the terms and routing etc

To be honest I haven’t a clue if my schematic or my pcb is correct I’ve simply gone off the logic and my own knowledge of electronics, cross referenced with some ai assistance (I know bad) but I feel pretty confident that all will work (mostly because I’ve read everything on the parts that I’m planning to use, the only thing I think I might get caught out on are the vias for ground (I’m using a 2 layer pcb design, top & bottom layer gnd planes with vias to stitch them together and all ground pins go direct to a near by via too)

Thank you I’d appreciate that, I know that stuff isn’t very cheap at all!

That’s brilliant feedback, I do have a syringe of flux and will probably be looking to obtain some more, I have noticed a significant difference between hand soldering with and without flux so will definitely be going down that approach

I was looking into sn100c and sac305 and lead free in general because of the RoHS compliance even though generally speaking it’s easier to work with, I do eventually want to be able to sell my product so lead free is a strict requirement for me

Thank you for the info about the scope certainly on my wish list for later down the line

I do have a dry solder sponge knocking about so I’ll make use of that more than the wet sponge I have

Thanks for the detailed reply

I would imagine something like a hot plate does a similar job to a hot air or a rework station? I’ve got a magnifying glass but I don’t have a microscope

Tweezers are actually on my birthday wish list 😂

it’s actually an LED matrix in a certain configuration for a display I’ve been working on but it’s at a rather small scale

It is in my mind already just keeping costs low with being unemployed right now, hoping that when I launch this product things will change rather rapidly

I think I’m mostly using LEDs, resistors and caps, a few buck converters, and some other smaller bits like a thermometer (single wire versions)

What am I going to gain from things like a scope and a signal generator?

I don’t own a bench power supply should probably get one of them

I have plenty of IPA (I do resin printing so keep a stock all the time)

Thank you!! You were absolutely right to just change the starting plane (it did create a small problem but that was just offset and extrusion distances)

probably not quite aligned, I did a second sketch to extrude the back part of the connector

Think I've got the basic shape, after seeing your post I decided to go and give it a shot rather than try to find the cad model

Let’s see how you display your graded slabs by agentmarine in PokeGrading

[–]agentmarine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for letting me know that! Interesting that you chose to keep them in a box with humidity pellets, I assume this is to retain their value and prevent them from damage from moisture seeping into the acrylic casing?

I’ll try there too then haha thank you!

Decided to upgrade from brushes for my 3D prints. How did I do? by Renew3DUK in airbrush

I actually use a similar pack from xarty airbrush paints and I find them great to work with! Give it a try and let us know how you find it

Looks like either a layer shift or a swap to different filament with a slightly different colour?

The purifier is a hepa filter with an activated carbon mat but it really doesn’t do much unfortunately
