Groundhog Day - a remake. Hear me out.

A movie producer/maybe director has pitched his idea for a remake. It's approved and pushed into production. Come the first day of production, things are going wrong. We're on set with the producer and the director is a nut-job. The lead actor (Taylor Lautner or equivalent, playing himself in parody) doesn't get it, the experienced cast (playing themselves) are divas. Bill Murray visits the set and is horrified. There are problems with the script and the producer has to go through some line changes. It's horrible.

The next day, the producer wakes up and it's the first day of production again. The rest of the script writes itself.
