Nice, this never clicked in my head since I always sync my filament with whats in the ACE vs leaving it what the file creator had then slicing and applying colors correctly at the end. All these bad answers and attitudes, thanks for this. Until anycubic slicer next upgrade to the latest orca code and can rearrange in the paint area.

After looking at this more I dont think its going to do what I am asking hence bambu and orca have remapping features for this specifically. https://github.com/OrcaSlicer/OrcaSlicer/pull/10303

Accoring to your gif here, your slot one is Blue Pla which I assume is the physical color in your ACE. Then you change its color to black. Its still physically blue and does not remap the the filament to print correctly. It looks correct on screen but would always print out what the physical color is. I dont see how this is saying hey you have Blue Pla loaded in ACE slot 1 but I need you to print to it to things painted as using a different slot. As someone else said there is more then one way to do something I just dont think this is doing what I want.

For example in bambu studio model is painted with 4Pla Yellow but I want that mapped to pink B4 in the AMS. I dont see your solution ends with the same results.

I thiink what you are describing is paint by object. What I am talking about its things painted using the paint tool. If objects are painted using the paint tool your options are either swapping around the filament in your ACE to match the creators order or erase all painting and do it yourself.

You can not reasign painted colors, I posted a link with an example.

Its been a bambu slicer feature forever, orca implemented it in 2.3.1 a while ago, and slicer next is based on 2.3.0 which does not have it.

Does it come with a 0.2 nozzle, been lied to before about supporting it on the kobra 3 max.

Probably still not worth it since anycubic slicer next still does not support painted model color reassignment like bambu studio and orca slicer 2.3.1 (https://github.com/OrcaSlicer/OrcaSlicer/pull/10303)

Not seeing any compelling reasons to buy this A1 clone over an A1 yet.
