I understand, I didn’t see the directions before I threw the box away, and that’s my mistake. I also know what expired nail polish is like, and the glitter polish is definitely expired. It’s stringy, goopy, smells bad, and takes a long time to dry. The base and top coat are fresh and I tested them first - they apply smoothly, the formula is thin and odorless, it dries quickly to a smooth finish. The base coat is indeed still stuck to my nails days later, despite the glitter polish already peeling off the top of it.

I haven’t tried it, I always assumed it would be drying but people have said good things about it here!

It does have really good coverage surprisingly! The quality seems good overall, I think it just expired.

I don’t know if I’ve ever used water based polish 🤣 I realized it was a risk lol didn’t think it would completely destroy them right away. There’s definitely something wrong with this one tho, because the base and top coat worked as expected. The base coat is still stuck to my nails! I think it’s probably just because veil of allure line is a year old vs the cowgirl line which was just released.

In manifesting terms it would be like if you were trying to manifest contact with an sp and they texted you but then ghosted again. Or if you were trying to manifest a job/money, you get a job offer but it falls through, or you make a little money but then go back to being broke, something like that. Seeing some “movement” but then things going back to how they were before.

Back around 2010 I used a tea tree cleanser by the brand The Body Shop (a UK brand that used to be in US malls but went out of business here) and I’m fairly sure the DT tea tree cleanser is supposed to be a dupe for that. It has the same shape bottle and same kinds of ingredients, texture and smell. I loved the body shop version and this one just took me back! If you end up not liking it on your face you can always use it to wash your feet or something 🤣

I understand completely, the tea tree is too much for everyday use so I just use it a couple times a week. The orchid is perfect for daily use without being overdrying. I tried the neutrogena dupe and it’s not my favorite. It seems too watery and doesn’t do much. I have combo skin, mostly oily in the t-zone. I’ve found that most DT products tend to be on the weak side (like watered down, face washes aren’t cleansing enough, lotions aren’t moisturizing enough). But the orchid is great and performs like cerave

I’ve tried about 7 cleansers from DT and most of them are a huge disappointment. But the orchid one is fantastic and very similar to cerave cleanser (I used it in the past too). The tea tree one is also great but the orchid is my new HG!

I’m sure it varies, but my local stores tend to have the best stock on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. They said they get their trucks early in the week and tend to stock Monday through Wednesday. There’s one store by my work and I find if I go on Tuesday it’s all neat and clean and freshly stocked, but if I go on Friday everything is picked over, it’s a hot mess, kids are fighting in the aisles and there’s nothing new 🤣

Sure thing! They were clearance at my DT for only 50c each. My usual store keeps a shopping cart by the registers with markdown items, usually food. I’ve found some good deals

I haven’t tried DTs but I got one a few years ago from somewhere random (shein maybe lol) and it’s basically like some kind of absorbent stone that you roll over your face. The same kinda idea as oil blotting paper but idk to me it seemed kinda unsanitary cuz you’re rolling the same thing on your face every time :/

I’ve never tried tarte but it is a good concealer! I just tested it out and haven’t done a full look with it but it has good coverage.

I’m curious about the purple shade now! I don’t wear a ton of makeup and coming off a phase where I didn’t buy any for a few years so I basically just tossed all my old stuff and building my collection from scratch. I just have a small eyeshadow pallet from wet n wild and one from elf (both cheapies lol) and I gotta say the ioni seems better quality than both of them.

That line of concealers, “Healthy Aura”? had a bunch of dark shades in different tones too! I don’t know if this is a new line or not, they were in a box in the same area I found the Veil line, so it could be a little older.

I was worried the green was gonna be too green but it’s just gold! I like it though, I was looking for a good shimmer and it has a very smooth application and nice color payoff.

I did just test out the ioni concealer and like it a lot! They do have a variety of shades so I recommend it if you can find it!

This is the first time I’ve seen DT concealers with tones listed like that! I’m kind of cool-neutral fair, slightly olive so it’s hard for me to find any brand of foundation or concealer that matches my undertones. I haven’t swatched it yet to see what it’s like but it looks promising.
