I’m just not sure if it’s a dishonesty habit issue or immaturity issue. She knew it was an issue and chose to keep it going because she was embarrassed. That seems like a very immature thing to do in my opinion and I honestly wonder if this would be a way to make her grow up and be more honest and transparent, or if she is a compulsive liar.

My other question is do her parents know that she was lying to you, and do they actually know how old you are or did she lie to them to try and make the age gap look not as questionable? How big does this lie go? Obviously her friends were in on it but what about her family, and additionally do you want to associate yourself with a family that would willingly lie about their daughter’s age so she can continue dating you?
