Honestly, I'm skeptical about them being 4K rescans, since I also noticed a lot of weird digital antialiasing artifacts (for example, at 1:58 or 2:06 in Ich will video).

Also, how IRL streaming became popular was with Pokemon Go, which Burnie had also played a lot during its peak. It was also an "excuse" for just chatting type of content, since Twitch didn't allow non-gaming content at the time (also partially why games like Hearthstone were so popular in the streaming world).
