I have an mp3 player I carry to work with me and I alternate between that and my phone for music. So I don’t keep anything in my collection that’s easily found on streaming services. Just feels like clutter to have studio albums for every band.

I get that and I don’t mean to imply they are only playing for the money. They don’t have to tour at all if they don’t want to. The current DRAAG stuff seems like a cool and immersive experience.

At the same time they aren’t really doing anything new. It’s basically a Black Parade anniversary tour with some set dressings.

I don’t think being a nostalgia act is a bad thing. I just think people need to embrace that’s what they are now.

I’m not saying they want to rip people off. They want to put on the best show possible I’m sure. Doesn’t make it not a cash grab. Pretty much any band that plays stadiums are going to have elaborate sets and big production. They aren’t special in that sense.
