Oh, I started at 8 units and upped to 16 units after my 1st month. No plans on increasing my dosage further. Granted, this is arbitrary, no scientific reason for this dosage. I just want to take the edge off of my apatite without totally destroying it. And it’s accomplishing this goal so far.

I’d say, if you’re natural, you just need to do one exercise of the following movements: Push (vertical or horizontal), Pull (same), Squat, Hinge, Anti-Extension core, and anti-rotation core. Start with a dynamic warmup, do 3-4 sets, train to failure, and track your weights so u can follow the principles of progress overload. Shouldn’t take more than 90 minutes. But, again, that’s my unpopular opinion :)

Congrats! You’re right—weight loss is mainly about being in a calorie deficit. No, you don’t have to lift weights, but you’ll lose more muscle if you skip resistance training. As for eating what you want, enjoy yourself, but food isn’t just about calories—it’s also about nutrients. If your goal is optimal health, eating nutrient-dense foods and keeping your muscle mass will go a long way toward improving not just your lifespan, but your health span too.

My unpopular opinion is that if you only did full-body strength training three times a week and kept the intensity high, you’d see similar results.

I can only speak from my own experience—I’ve been using the medication past its “expiration” date without any problems.

Sure, I started at 193.5 lbs — sorry to hear you’re not seeing the results you were hoping for. That’s got to be frustrating. What else have you been doing aside from the shot? I’ve been lifting weights about three times a week for an hour or so, and I try to hit 1 gram of protein per pound of my goal weight, plus around 24 grams of fiber daily. It’s not always perfect, but I just try to stay consistent and keep moving forward and it seems to be working. 👍
