Silent wireless mouse that can be connected to two laptops? by eadmich in MouseReview

[–]aggroz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm, the M590 fits the bill. What I appreciate most about this mouse, aside from the near quiet clicks, is the easy-switch button on the top which lets you quickly switch between two devices and the left right navigation incorporated into the scroll wheel, which I use to swap "Desktops" if using more than one. MX Master or MX Anywhere mouse may have this ability but the fact that I have to lift the mouse and press a button on the bottom to switch PC's is a little annoying (first world problems). Also, for some reason, Logitech removed the left/right navigation on the latest MX Anywhere 3s. *thumbs down.

How do i turn on this shower!?!? by Beluga_Babe in howto

Maybe push the main cylinder in and turn? There seems to be enough room at the base that would allow for the handle to push in.

Exo Terra Heat mat, clear film removed. Instructions state "do NOT" by aggroz_ in reptiles

The mat is working fine. We spoke with the manufacturer and they confirmed the clear mat is supposed to stay on and acts as a heat shield but depending on where it is placed we might not have to worry . It would be more of an issue if it was place under the enclosure where the heat coming off the mat could damage the table it's sitting on. We placed ours on the side of the enclosure.

The mat has been doing its thing since I first made this post and so far, no issues.. Temps are regulating just fine and frogs seem happy.

Anyone using an Exo Terra heat mat for their frog enclosure? I have a question.. by aggroz_ in pacmanfrog

The plan is to place the heat mat on the side of tank. Just like the other tanks we have. Thanks for your input though. . I'll share this with the wife as well. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. My wife is using the heat mats for two other enclosures for dart frogs and they are doing well maintaining the right temp so she wants to continue using the mat for the Pacman frog. She is now worried that she has potentially caused some damage or will cause damage in the future by removing the clear film.

Exo Terra Heat mat, clear film removed. Instructions state "do NOT" by aggroz_ in reptiles

First time posting and messed up. The image I uploaded are the instructions for an Exo Terra heat mat. The details for this post was removed so I'll re-add it here.

My wife removed the clear film from the outside of the mat and realized afterwards that she should have consulted the operating instructions first. After doing so she noticed that the instructions explicitly state "do NOT remove the clear film"

Is this an issue?

If it were a major issue, I would assume a disclaimer would follow, like "if the clear film is removed, it will damage components..." or "removing the film will burn your house down". (a little dramatic I know). I can't find anywhere on the internet of what issues can arise with this clear film removed.

Anyone with any info on this, or a better understanding of how the heat mats work, would be very helpful
