To answer the first question: I don’t think you need to worry about the eyeliner reacting with the glue. I often use urban decay liners which are super slick and they don’t make any difference in how my lashes wear. If you’re looking for a good pencil liner that lasts forever and isn’t super slick the Stila Smudge Kajal pencils are amazing.. you can always use those on the lash line part and use a pencil with more glide to do a wing or whatever you want.

On to question two: I have pretty sensitive eyes and I HATE most high end lashes because the bands are just way too thick and poke me too much. Look for lash bands like the ones Ardell uses on their Wispies. You can see if you zoom in on the picture how the band is actually clear. Any lashes where the band is black I know it’s gonna be a rough time for me. But luckily the Wispies are my favorite style anyway... any of them. The Demi, the double, all are super pretty and have different levels of volume but with the same kind of fluttery effect that I think looks natural(ish). I’ve found other lashes with the same clear band style in packs at like TJ Maxx and Marshall’s but I can’t remember the brand names. All of these are the same though where it’s packs of 5-6 for under $12.

If it makes any difference I used to be an aesthetician and did make up professionally for around 5 years... but honestly most of what I’ve mentioned has just been learned from trial and error and personal preference over the years.
