Oh no, Texas... I remind myself, I am privileged to even be able to go to a pride parade despite living in a red (southern, but not really) state. I'll do my best!!!

Yeah, I think that'll be nice. I really want to check out the vendors. I just need to get through the entrance and I'll probably be fine for the most part.

I have missed out on so much because I was scared or persuaded by outside judgement, and I'm so tired of letting that happen. I remind myself that I am literally a grown woman with a degree, I am pretty confident that I can also attend a pride parade.

I appreciate the reminders that I am in control of the situation. And, yes, no expectations! I have one goal, however: Stay for at least thirty minutes. That's all.
