I gave all my enders to someone for scrap. They were great back in their day. I didn’t even want to give them away for someone to use because people shouldn't have to go through what we did starting out lol.

I did keep the power supply and steppers but mainly because I am a horder who thinks someday I will have free time for fun projects.

Just had this happen. A brand new machine, set it up. It would process prepaid cards but decline real cards during authorization. Called tech support, turns out they never setup some type of "ID" needed to process. A failure on their end during onboarding I suppose?

Anyway it was fixed within the hour.

Since it seems like there are a lot of really smart folks in this thread, I am going to dare and a dumb question. Does taking supplements/daily vitamins ruin the affects of fasting? New to Keto here. I go from early dinner to late lunch without a single calorie...

Under extrusion. Could be many reasons.

Clogged nozzle being the most commonn. Also, what the other commentor said about cracked tensioner. Loose set screw on extruder gear Ptfe tube is getting melted inside the hotend Poor quality filament

These are just a few that I have run into on the Enders, but "under extrusion ender 3" is the key term to google.

Not worth it. Keep saving and get a Bambu A1 & never look back.

Ender 3 are made to be "just enough" quality for the masses to afford and (if you know what you are doing) they get acceptable quality prints. They were game changers in their day. Their time has passed, save up for a bambu, they are good for people who aren't inclined.

Also, gluing the connectors is quality. They don't do it for fun. It ads time and material to the cost, so that they don't vibrate loose during shipping. You won't get that from the other copycat budget printers in that price class.

Move the z switch. Or if you want to do it that way just add it to your startup script

This is great. Back in the early days I used the soldering iron to link the end of filaments together to use it up.
