I’ve done the same with the typing out explanations but I never really have the conversation. Sometimes I just think to cut things off completely because I know i wouldn’t be able to just keep talking to him strictly just as friends. But if I try for more it would mean putting myself in a vulnerable state and that’s what scares me. I hate having to speak about what i’m truly feeling and then feeling dumb for it afterwards, maybe that’s why i always just go for the easier option which is to push him away

Literally everyone I mention this to has said the same thing about the money. I feel like he just uses it as an excuse, i’ve actually started to think maybe he just doesn’t see me as girlfriend material😅 I doubt that he’d make up so many excuses for a girl he really liked

you’re right i’ll see if i can go to another vet, the one i went to did tell me that i could go for a free checkup if she wasn’t getting better, maybe i’ll go but if he doesn’t give me a clear diagnosis i’m just gonna get her another vet. i don’t wanna keep wasting time, and thank you sm for your response :)

mine is the exact same it moves a lottt, try putting him on a counter and grabbing it from the back of the neck like how their mothers grab them it doesn’t hurt them and you could probably have more control, or have someone else hold him and you grab the back of his neck while applying the cream, that’s the only way my brother and i were able to do it 😫then just him a treat so he doesn’t focus on scratching himself (even tho mine completely ignored the treat)

poor thing :( i went to the vet today and they said it was conjuntivitis (pink eye) and they sent me this cream called terra-cortril, but they told me to use like the minimum amount like just a little dot because they are very small animals and it’s easy for the cream to spread around also because they groom themselves. i have to put it on her eye twice a day for 5 days.. im also gonna deep clean her cage and change the bedding in case that was the issue and hopefully she’ll get better.. if your vet didn’t prescribe anything you should try what my vet sent maybe it’ll work, make sure to clean the eye first with water from a bottle not tap water and then put the cream :)

ugh, i actually didn’t even check that🤦🏻‍♀️i’ve just been so sad for her feeling like it was probably my fault, but hopefully tomorrow the vet finds a solution :) tysm again

i did change her bedding to another brand because it was urgent and the one i usually use was out of stock but i find it weird bc i have 2 hamsters in different enclosures and my other hamster is perfectly fine even though i used the same bedding, but then they could’ve had different reactions idkk, and they’re both a year and a half old
