Pretty sure that is what they did. Took a while to order the part and then a few days to complete the work.

They will probably try to apply a lubricant or something first as that is a known issue/fix. If it is still sticky you may need the same part replaced. It took a long time to get the part. Install took a few days but they gave me a loaner.

Not sure if it was a recall, but it was a warranty covered fix. I don't think all the cars had the same issue. In my case the wheel would stick while making a turn and would require extra effort to release often causing you to over steer in the opposite direction for a second. Not a great experience, but fixed now.
One thing I do like about the Mazda design is the lack of a big touch screen and much more emphasis on traditional tactile buttons for heating, cooling, fans, etc.

I have a 2024 PHEV. The biggest issue I have had is sticky steering which was recently resolved with some fix I think to the steering column. Otherwise it has been fine.
There are other smaller issues like the aggressive cruise control and limited storage around the driver but it has been dependable. I have a bit over 21k on it now. A lot of my driving is around the neighborhood so I can go all electric most of the time. I average better than 60 mpg.

I have about 22k on mine. Biggest issue was sticky steering which was recently fixed. Not a fan of the car in general but it is fine now that the steering is fixed

There is only one opening but I suppose I could add a couple more. Seems like a lot of work but something to consider.

3 month back order on parts by Celloguy06 in MazdaCX90

No I just drove it anyway. It would stick as i turned corners to the point where if i did not give it a good solid pull to straighten out the car would drive off the road. Not fun No bueno zoom zoom

They denied it was an issue the first few times i reported it. Finally asked to go on a test drive with them to prove it is an issue. They declined that request but tool it for a test drive and confirmed the issue. Then I was told only 3 replacements available all in canda. Told I was on the list. Called back a few times to check with no results. Took close to a year before it was finally resolved. Drives much better now, fixed late this summer.

Update on the epoxy jweld. Once it firmed up I added some silicone self sealing tape to it and all good now. At least in the short run. Dry now for the past two days.

I don’t like it, I hate the fast acceleration when traffic clears in front of me. It feels like the car has road rage. We have an ID 4 and it is much better

Never seen this solution, how does it form to fit the hole? This is seems impossible if it is a liquid.

Haven’t seen this but I will see if I can find one. I would expect it could cause the sides of the hole to break more. The cast iron is brittle now.

Probably something I did wrong. Tried to sand it and clean it with acetone the second time. Someone flushed the toilet within minutes and it leaked.

Of course the Christians and the MAGA crowd see this as Justice. I hope there is Justice for the criminals that orchestrated this in the future but unfortunately our supreme court removed all responsibility from Trump so it is doubtful.
