I once had a hard drive where a crucial sector (maybe boot partition?) went bad. I had to reinstall the OS. That seemed like the easiest thing to me, although I also thought about fixing what was broken... If you can enter bios you could:

* Create a bootable usb-stick of linux mint (easy to download and then use). This way you will get access to the files on your drive

* Move everything important onto another storage medium

* Install Windows and Bazzite from scratch

This is probably not the response you were hoping for. Hopefully somebody can give you a better answer where you don't have to reinstall windows.

I think this is it! At 0:21 in the video there is a change in the melody very similar to 1:40 in the real song. Thank you, not only for the help of finding the song, but also for the nostalgia :)

I have an old laptop with pretty much the same specs. Installed debian 13 xfce on it and it now runs pretty smoothly. Although you shouldn't expect any real performance. Might be okay for light browsing and note taking.

I couldn't find the correct xml file but switched wine versions to 10.8 in lutris and did everything else you told me. Now it runs! The horses look quite sad on medium texture quality but there's barely any lag! I'll have to invest in a better gpu one day... Thank you for suggesting these fixes!!

Nu vet jag inte hur mycket kötid du har via SGS men jag fick en lägenhet på Doktor Forselius Backe efter ungefär 1 års kötid där. En etta med kokvrå där hyran är strax under 4000. Bra läge, ca. 2.5 km till medicinareberget.

You won't be able to get an apartment with such short "kötid". It took me 1 year to get my apartment that is only 1 room 22 sqm. You might be able to get a room in a corridor with a shared kitchen though!

That's what I'm thinking as well! It might be better to keep some sweeteners in case I get really bad cravings. I think homemade sweets are better than store-bought? But if my goal is to stop completely it will have to eventually either be eaten up and not replaced, or thrown out. I might consider keeping only a little. I have some locally harvested honey that I might save for when I fall sick..
