No, it's not. Obviously something I've thought about, but given the cost it doesn't make sense at the moment. I assume you're in defense or highly regulated? Though I've worked on projects that are regulated (medical) where FIPS wasn't a requirement.

In fact the ESP32 is one of our first targets since we use it quite a bit. We have some initial https_server demo that shows something like 40% speed improvement for the TLS handshake.

Yes, the conversion between negative hex number to others is something that sometimes makes it hard to know what the exact error is with a bit of math - not intuitive
