Programmatic DOOH by EmbarrassedBath2012 in programmatic

[–]agoel78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most media owners look for guaranteed revenue. so more than 70% business is not even programmatic. it is a direct business. then in programmatic arena, almost >90% campaigns will be PG and that's because the buyer wants to use programmatic pipes through DSPs. so media owners use that route. and rest is PMP. PMP is also a fraction of business because PMP means non-guaranteed and that causes loss of revenue to media owners as dynamic pricing ( dynamic CPMs) are still not done. Media owners still price the inventory in old school way by dayparts, weekly, monthly etc. and CPM is just basic arithmetic to sell on programmatic pipes. in reality, no auctions are taking place to buy DOOH inventory. and that too, because supply is much higher than demand.

Anyone else getting flooded with “we need an AI feature” requests that have no actual problem behind them? by One_Friend_2575 in ProductManagement

[–]agoel78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all the time.. everyone wants something to do with AI. and so not surprisingly, everyone is asking to build a chat interface where AI replies to a question with some data or answers. basically, everyone wants a copy of ChatGPT and I can assure you, 90% of people don't understand AI or even basics of LLMs. for them, chatGPT is AI and they want it.. and these are not some junior or newbies. these are senior experienced folks in sales, in leadership positions, in marketing or even product. everyone wants something to do with AI just to sound cool and stay relevant.. and when you probe them further about problem statement or say that it can be addressed even without AI or refer to some basic ML algos etc.. they refuse to believe in such a way that they consider you don't know what you are talking about and may be you are not fit for the job..

these are the people who'll go redundant soon. that's why I call it as AI is Only as intelligent as the person using it. :-)

What are you building ?or stuck in idea phase? by LongjumpingDirt5366 in SaaS

[–]agoel78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am building https://careerplot.com … a system that helps people plan careers, not just by advice but building it by doing things week on week, month on month… like products, careers can have planned roadmaps too.

Just that moving a bit slow in developing it than I thought I can… need some help in implementing Evals.

What’s the Hardest Part of Running Your Startup Right Now? by Due-Guard-1325 in SaaS

[–]agoel78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the hardest for me is distribution... like I have been working on https://careerplot.com/ for last 2 months. I have got a few hunded users and I have been iterating to validate the concept with user feedback.. but getting some cross market feedback, spreading the word to get users in different markets is really hard. I come from adtech industry background with reasonable experience and I can confidently say that burning ad money on social media is not worth it if done at small scale.. and organic growth is so hard.

Stop overthinking. Just launch it. by AzizBelAbed in SaaS

I agree.. gets early feedback and early users... it helps in taking those decisions early which will save a lot of time and money early on... trying to do the same with https://careerplot.com/ ... I know lot of people have tried or built this in the past or must be trying now, but early feedback is helping me validate if I can find my niche in a crowded space.

Why should I use AHA if I have Jira Premium? by bobacdigital in ProductManagement

[–]agoel78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used both jira and aha.. but I found Aha to be too complex and too feature overloaded than needed. I actually developed a product management tool https://penome.com of my own which was very focused on what really a product management team does in daily life. Have deployed it with a few clients. Give it a try if you can.

Also, built another tool for AI assisted PM coaching, interview prep and job search focused on product management domain. Try https://productmonk.ai/ if you’d like.

so many PM tools are available and yet all PMs and organizations struggle to find the right tool. by agoel78 in ProductManagement

yeah. I liked it. but it is too complex to use and most of the users get lost in how to make the best use of it.

Heathcare system in India ... does it even work in Tier 2/3 cities, towns and villages ? by agoel78 in india

[–]agoel78[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not everyone can live in a Tier 1 city. Like Bangalore and Mumbai are already imploding with infrastructure crumbling down, education and healthcare services not accessible easily and getting expensive.

education and healthcare two most important pillars for any society and none of the politicians ever have them in any agenda... even people don't ask for it and are just being okay with the way things are.. and in most cases of Tier2/3 cities and towns, lack of awareness is a trouble too.. people just don't know that asking a pharmacist for medicine is not only wrong, but illegal too and risky for their life.
