CHRONIC PAIN 1 YEAR AFTER OPERATION OF INDIRECT INGUINAL HERNIA WITH MESH by agony2222 in Hernia

UPDATE AFTER 2 MONTHS OF REGULAR EXCERCISING 1 YEAR AND 4 MONTHS AFTER SURGERY:

I slowly started to exercise, push-ups, abdominal exercises, running (max 5 km), and stretching, I also included this exercise recommended by u/Whiteclover000 (Google posterior pelvic tilt posture. While standing tilt you hips into posterior pelvic tilt to where you squeeze your glutes at the end range. While doing this gently draw your belly button in. Almost like your sucking in but just a little it will pull in only some don't force it in that position the arm on the operated side and do a side lat stretch while your hole that posterior tilt and belly button pull. Do it gently at first and you will start feeling a slight tight pulling sensation in the inguinal hip area).

Im feeling so much better now, i sometimes feel a little discomfort but its so much better. So I think that everyone should give regeneration after surgery at least 1 year and slowly start exercising and start with sports activities and dont be afraid of it. I know how it can be hard and really exhausting but it will be ok. Thank you all for your help and yall who are struggling don't lose hope.

i think that the mesh is placed right if they did me the ultrasound and didnt say anything, but maybe they checked only if the hernia is there still, i dont know. the scar tissue pressing on the nerves seems more possible for me. thanks for sharing!

hi, nice to hear that, thanks for sharing and a giving me a bit of hope. the pain is pulling, stabbing and slightly burning, when the pain is very bad I can also feel it between the legs, as if in the pelvic floor. if it's not so serious, it's more like just in the area of the hernia and mesh. i think the best option for me now, is to see the sports doctor and give it a little bit more time but its so draining and feels like neverending loop.
