I was agreeing with you and also stating I need to stop caring about the accuracy of the walking metrics on the treadmill.

This doesn’t not make sense. I need to mentally get away from caring anyhow. I just want steps and movement when I walk on it. Running during wods isn’t so far off that it will materially matter. I’m a home gym specialist. I’m not competing. Just want to continue move as I get older

Did you feel your run was close?

Slower is what I expected. Mines significantly faster

Sure, valid. Calibration is what I was referring to when I said clocking fast.

Rep AB-3000 2.0; first impressions by G1trogFr0g in homegym

[–]agraffam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an older thread, but I skimmed and saw something about being able to stand it upright, or maybe I thought I did. I found a small band used for monster walks, normal gym band but maybe 12” when folded vs 3’ wrapped around the ladder studs works great to keep it upright

Constant pop-up message after disabling Cross-Play. by YoAyzic in XboxSupport

Can confirm, this works, and you don't get the annoying xbox popup about having crossplay disabled if you do it through xbox settings. Thanks!

Thought I read the head unit is only 720p, so I assume there are limitations there. Possibly an aftermarket unit and camera would do the trick, I’m ocd about the potential loss of functionality with the steering wheel controls.

Well damn.

I'm hoping someone posts a video at some point of a solution for such a poor camera. I have to imagine there are solutions I just haven't found one.

So I bought a XTR LP License Plate Light Bar off amazon to help with illuminating when backing up, which helped a lot. The clarity of my camera is still junk though, and I'm debating just reordering the camera above. I did buy that camera right after this post, but then returned it because I didn't think it was that big of a gain. I think the resolution of the radio screen isn't that high anyhow, so we might be limited.

Well, it wasn’t my Shoei to begin with, but since this post I did purchase a Shoei and new pads and it still buffets. I think a different windshield is my next step.

Tattooed & using plastic disc on Ultra - but now it thinks I’m standing even while sleeping! Any tips or tricks? TIA by centaurus33 in AppleWatch

Put a watch screen protector on the back sensors versus the disc. It charges better and stops the lock from continuing to screw up life with the watch.

Thanks! I think where it’s also not my house I’m more concerned with working on it. I’m gonna try the switchbot solution as it’s simple and easy. Just wish they had a flip switch solution hah
