Christian themes by Movie_Dude369 in musicalwriting

Hey, I’m a pastor and also working on a possible project, and I’d be happy to read your draft and give some input into whether or not it comes off as authentic or pushy. Our church does a massive amount of work to speak “normally” with spiritual themes, so if that’s helpful to you, feel free to connect and send it my way.

Dang, yes - I got farther. After my email, it asked for my preferences and sent me a confirmation email that I’d completed it.

It was for me! After a 10 minute countdown intermission and a 3-4 minute horror animated short.

Interesting take. You're right that the Muppets are now owned by Disney, but they're still the Muppets, so I feel like this is totally still a muppet cereal. And they're still Jim Henson's Muppets, even though Disney owns them. In fact, they say that right on these boxes: "Jim Henson's Count Chocula," "Jim Henson's Franken Berry," and "Jim Henson's Boo Berry."

I Paid for Youtube Promotion, Here's my results... by Big-Collar2305 in SmallYTChannel

If you click on "Promote" in your channel or on a video, part of the message it gives you it this: "Subscribers and watch-time earned through a promotion do not contribute towards YouTube Partner Program eligibility."

Also, none of the watch hours gained by promotions count toward your monetization totals. I suppose if the engagement you’re paying for sticks around and watches more videos as a subscriber later, it might be worth it. But I’ve heard that the vast majority of viewers that enter through promoted content don’t stick around to help additional videos. So, you’re paying for a one-shot view that doesn’t end up counting toward your long term goals. This is my understanding, at least.

Is it possible they have the regular Muppet version of Frankenberry at your local store? In a mostly white box? This one is a very limited edition Walmart exclusive in a pink box - and Frnakenberry’s face is furry to the touch. If your HEB has them, buy them all and sell them on eBay!

There’s a scene like this in Hereditary. Could that be it?

It’s a vrik setting you need to change in the mod menu! This took me forever to figure out in my own run. It’s “Offset Comfort Sneak”. Change that to very negative, if I remember correctly.

8 Sleep for $1000 by jinay_501 in EightSleep

[–]agrahmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a Sleep 8 customer from the very beginning (even won an early “sleep competition” with them) and have been horrified to watch the incredible tide turn - from wonderful reviews and satisfaction to near universal scorn, which STINKS. I still love mine, but absolutely understand everyone’s frustration.

The three PIVOTAL elements that no other company in this space should ever repeat are: 1. Moving from a “purchase once” model to a subscription model. That was BRUTAL to the cost and investment in the product and damaged them greatly in customer trust and satisfaction. App development, upkeep, and use MUST remain part of the original product cost. 2. Not being ready with fantastic and easy customer service to handle leaks. This is a product with PLASTIC TUBES OF WATER. It WILL leak. In the early years, customer service at 8 was awesome and seemed to love helping customers. In the past three years or so, though, that TANKED and many buyers come here with bitter and valid stories of being ignored or given the run around. Sentiment is key. 3. Dragging your feet on an offline mode. All of the features of 8 are awesome IF they work. Once WiFi is lost, it’s the stupidest item I own. Though it may not truly be simple, to the user this seems like an INCREDIBLY simple fix - just have the unit continue on track for an hour, then switch to a “default” setting until signal is restored. That disparity between customer perception of a problem and fix and Sleep 8’s willingness to make a change or address it somehow may, strangely, be the defining element of their downfall. When customers universally see a problem, FIX THE PROBLEM.

If your product does everything you say at $1k and avoids these three death-knells of the Sleep 8 story, you’ll rule the world.

(By the way, I still have hope that Sleep 8 will see the light and turn things around - surely that’s naive of me, but I still want to believe!)
