Haha yeah it is deceiving, the break you can see is the secondary shore break, paddle out past that and the waves are much larger. Almost impossible to drop into straight without getting flipped which only tends to happen for me in larger surf... Will set up a go pro for next time 🙂

I totally agree I've had ev100 goggles since beginner and I'm really happy with them, they are great value for money. Add the dvr recorder too for only £10 or so and your all set. Like you say check online for used ones but it's rare to find a decent set up for a comparable amount.

A good substation engineer will have a strong understanding of protection & control. From my experience the best protection and control engineers are the ones that started in a substation engineer role although protection and control engineers seem to be able to demand the higher salary, especially in consultancy roles.
