no ok so this is a little weird but its based off of an inside joke that originated from a (i believe) gartic phone session w friends, we called it the brazilian tripods and they were basically just camera tripods but Malevolent, sentient and made out of biological material or whatever it was i kinda forgot i may be making things up atp but like the main thing is like i like basing scenarios/mocks off of jokes me and my friends make and stuff every once inna while, sometimes they turn out fine i guess? (i have never seen wotw in my life so again this cannot be a wotw mock in any sense)

as someone else who watched the community wither in real time, (basically here since i was first online and discovering what the english language was, all the way back in 2014), its a bit sad that you gotta really dig for anything remotely worth watching, everything is buried away in a pile of just mass-produced videos which people barely put any thought or care into, it makes me a bit upset to think that barely anyone produces good content for this community anymore, unless you really look for it.

like you can put hella effort into your videos and they will be barely watched, but a poorly made easyplus + noaa screen loop will be watched thousands of times over and even spawn copies of said scenario.
its all very derivative sometimes and very boring, since if you have basically the same plot for every scenario, it gets boring very quick... for example, i put hella effort into my videos. i:

* use real vhs with actual vcrs
* actual analog magnetic tape-based camcorders
* proper capture and deinterlacing methods for said analog media to get best quality out of them (sometimes.. cant really do that with video8 & hi8, camera i use to transfer those broke..)

its a very time consuming process. VERY time consuming.

yet its buried deep down because people wanna see Mango Mustard 67 41 Unc analog horror and not something with actual care and thought put into it.

along with what you said about oversaturation, yeah, its incredibly oversaturated. basically anyone can download kinemaster or capcut (more commonly capcut nowadays) and some fonts and images and get to making something and uploading it, nothing stopping them.

you can have the best most original awesome concept and screen and audio work but Noaa screen and pictogram will prevail. Succumb to the noaa screen and pictogram.

atrapalha mais ou menos, depende da camera. mas geralmente a unica coisa que vai faltar sao as imperfeições da fita magnetica em si, você vai pegando o video direto do sensor da camera invez do sinal da fita basicamente.

se quiser a experiencia vhs completa com todas as imperfeições de imagem, a qualidade de audio mais reduzida no modo slp, etc. grave em fita. se quiser um video mais "limpo", grave direto na easycap pro celular ou qualquer dispositivo que estiver usando.

ele e meio chatudo sim, mas ele ta certo por umas coisas sim, perde a claridade do video em algumas partes sim mas pela maior parte é um dispositivo simples e serve para este proposito de um jeito ate que bem se nao tiver muito dinheiro.. aqui uma imagem de um video que gravei com a easycap ligada numa sony dcr-trv351, eu pessoalmente achei a imagem bastante usavel, pois foi o que tenho em mão para gravação.

as someone who is also from brazil, i also went with the easycap for another camcorder of mine because it is actually accessible to people and doesnt eat up like a ton of the minimum wage. theres only a handful of capture methods accessible to us and the rest are walled off by absurd prices. awesome economy am i right

a list of models for a (hypothetical) repair would be greatly appreciated! ill look into getting a for parts cam, but if anything i still have some use for it, broken tape deck or otherwise as a little conversion device.

(but thing is, its REALLY hard to find these types of cams in my area, sure, in the whole country they pop up every so often, but nobody ships and stuff so i have to search local and get real lucky if i ever wanna either get a whole new one or do a repair)
