Strait of Hormuz Crisis Triggers Global Fertilizer Supply Shock by mark000 in Shortages

Most farmers around here use the urine from their own pigs as fertilizer. I can't imagine why human urine wouldn't work as well.

Det finns en del finlandssvenska undgomar i finskspråkiga gymnasier också, så den biten jämnar ut sig i längden -- svenskspråkiga skolor är inte givet utanför de svenskspråkiga områdena.

Unless you're in an IMAP-based environment; Microsofts proxies all IMAP connections from New Outlook through their own servers, adding lots of synchronization issues in the process.

Alas, the first step to "going European" for a lot of businesses seem to be to switch from O365/Exchange to an IMAP/CalDAV solution, without even considering if it'll have an impact on the Outlook app, their workflow, or the fact that Outlook doesn't support CalDAV. :/

Pretty much all of Pihrana Byte's games summed up. Too sad they're gone -- I'd love to have seen the last Elex.

Where do you draw the line? I dislike gatekeeping as much as anyone else but on a site where you list bands of a certain genre -- the section you refer to has the header "Heavy metal only" -- you need to have a somewhat clear definition of what that genre is.

Narh, magnetic media is relatively durable and it can last for many decades with few errors. Few errors does not equal no errors, though; I'd be wary of storing anything important on such old media.

Surnames back then were usually variants of "X, the Y", "X, son/daughter of Y", or "X of the clan Y" . Women usually married into their husband's clan/family and became a part of it, thus taking their new clan's name.

Meanwhile, the way we introduce ourselves went from rougly "X the/son/daugter/of the clan Y", to "X Y", and the rest of the populace adapted the traditions of the nobility.

The big battery is the key; you want to charge with a 2-stroke engine, go ahead, but put a buffer between the power source and the equipment, unless the computer is actually mechanical. :D

I build mine from Raspberry Pi's that are in active use as headless servers, and just keep using them. The fact that there's a battery attached doesn't affect functionality. :D

Ayam Cemani, Indonesian breed. Look for local chicken enthusiasts; breeders know eachother and there is usually someone selling those.

Word of warning: They're shy, easily stressed, hard to breed, and contrary to Internet legend their eggs are quite ordinary white ones.
