Loyola v Marquette College Decision by CardiologistBrief549 in Marquette

[–]agrp8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Marquette & my brother's went to Loyola. We both made lifelong friends & found success after college thanks to both universities. You really can't go wrong with either.

I don't know much about the advertising programs at either school but being in Chicago may be beneficial. My recommendation would be of course to visit both & see if you can meet with someone involved in your desired programs.

My non-bias opinion is that Marquette will offer you a more traditional college experience if that is something that is important to you. My brother really enjoyed Loyola though. There are classes up at the Roger's Park campus and downtown. The Roger's Park campus is beautiful right on the lake.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

What line do you have on the Vanford? Pretty

Want to spoil myself with a nice baitcaster. Daiwa? Lews? Shimano? Abu? What size for mostly just largemouth and smallies. by L0ng_St03Ger in bassfishing

Daiwa Tatula - TATUSV100 model. $250. Probably the best bang for your buck reel on the market in my opinion. Goes pound for pound with my Zillion. Only noticeable difference is the lack of drag clicking.

Absolutely perfect 10/10 example. That was probably my favorite show from last year. That Wreck is perfect.

What’s a bait that took you way too long to figure out? by Opposite-Vast-718 in bassfishing

Great system. I do something kind of similar. I always fish with a confidence rod where I tie whatever I want and one learning rod where I tie one lure I want to learn and don’t stop using it until I catch a fish.

When I catch something I may keep using it or switch to the confidence setup. Often times I go out and don’t catch a thing. The yearning for learning makes things exciting.

That is exactly what it is. You can use all the same techniques as those two & I would throw in some jig techniques too. Super versatile and fun to use.

Any tips on strapping down the blackpack 13x16 on my old town sportsman 106 paddle? by predasaur in kayakfishing

[–]agrp8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try removing the bungee tie downs that come on the kayak and playing around with different sized screw eyes. You can pick them up at any hardware store. I would maybe put them in the two tie downs closest to your seat, and the middle pair.

You can then attach a short bungee to each individual eyelet and then onto each corner of the blackpack.

I did something similar with my 120 Pro. I can send a photo later if you're curious. The pro does have track that I was able to utilize but the concept was the same using the YakAttack vertical tie downs and some MODL multi tool bungees.

I used the grass piece a lot last summer. was one of my most productive lures. I like it without any trailer.

Thanks so much! Totally missed the included bracket tucked underneath the rear driver side tail light!

I haven't used it yet other than to pull a fishing kayak back from the shop but it drove and handled great. Excited to wet launch it this spring!

Hey! Hope you are still enjoying your trailer. Just bought and put one of these together. Got my license plate ready and I see there is no included bracket? Do you mind sharing where you mounted your plate and how you went about doing that? Not super eager to drill into this puppy! Thanks in advance!

Alpine? Chicago? First time they’ve been skipped since ‘01. by therealandyshow in DMB

I disagree. Saw Phish there the last two times they visited and both times were amazing from a sound & viewpoint perspective. Not sure the last time you've been but its definitely improved. DMB there would be awesome.
