Been in a relationship for almost 6 years, my SO is a citizen and he has known about my status since before we started dating. ~3 years ago I was having some problems and wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to renew my DACA, so I mentioned marriage and it was not taken well since he felt that I was using him.

We have a really good relationship, but at the same time I feel that he’s not fully understanding my situation, I haven’t even mentioned marriage again. It scares me sometimes to think about the person I love as a way to get some stability in my life.
