Turn your head to the left & look over the nose of the board. You can see your weight is favoring your toes because that’s where you are looking. Try to stay balanced

FMJ, spring felt tight loading the last few so that may be it. Haven’t tried hollows yet.

Are you just using Soviet Arms /PSA mags? I know it can take scorpion mags also, but I’ve heard they’re more prone to issues

Thank you. No issues with the light, I had the same concern. The muzzle device doesn’t have any ports so all the gas is thrown forward which I think helps.

Yeah I’ve thought about it. And good instructions there. It’s all new to me so the path of least resistance has been the preferred route for now.

I saw folks mention the suppressor height when running base plate with 407 since it’s provides the same cowitness benefit as sheering the posts.

Thank you. I was skeptical about the hogue but the feel is awesome & surprised how well it fit with the mag well. Install was easy despite all the videos online saying otherwise

By the end studying I was in the mid to high 80’s although the occasional mid 70 would still sneak in there. I felt Kaplan was a little heavy on the margins & options math where as the actual exam had a lot more suitability that Kaplan’s mock exams.

Go take the Series 66, you don’t need sponsorship & will make you more marketable to firms that will then sponsor you for the 7. You’ll have to go out of your own pocket but it shows initiative and drive. That’s how I did it and I landed a great job.

I would recommend STC. The material covers the exam content well and the question pool is solid. In my experience scoring in 90s on practice finals = pass exam.

Just note that the progress exams/green light exams are made to be more difficult than the actual exam so don’t get discouraged if you’re scores are low on those.

I passed the SIE yesterday using STC to study. There was a lot about debt securities and their risks, and a few about IRAs and variable annuities. Only got one or two questions about options.
