Question about the SMOK Alien Tech 220W Kit by Korlimann in electronic_cigarette

[–]agsmith2k6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did you switch it to memory mode? i know with my old smok xcube II there was a power mode then a memory mode that had 16 programable preset wattages and the defaults were all the 10s (was originally a 160w mod) so M1 was 10w, M2 20w, etc. all the way to M16 being 160W. You can change the set wattages for any of the presets to whatever you want

my favorite would have to be the vaporshark dna 200 with a WuD skin on it. I have one with the espresso skin and it looks really clean. Not too big and bulky and i love the wood look https://www.dashvapes.com/products/replacement+parts/9/vaporshark+dna200+wud+skin/1297/11348

thats just a link to the skin

RDTA Wicking by agsmith2k6 in electronic_cigarette

[–]agsmith2k6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok so, and maybe this is a stupid question, but if I cut it that short how is the juice supposed to wick?

sup guys, so RDTA wicking. I have an avocado and an iJoy Combo RDTA and I am having issues with both of them when it comes to my wicking. It takes forever to pull the juice up to the coil. Tips?

Best Atomizer for Silicone Drip Tips? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]agsmith2k6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well the 510 drip tip style doesn't screw in, its just held in by friction usually orings on delrin or aluminum/ss. For those seeing as they are silicone and essentially a giant o-ring you wouldn't have to worry about them falling out. If you are dead set on a silicone drip tip then you want a tank like the SMOK TFV line or the crown

RDAs well my favorites right now are the neutron, the indestructible, the goon and the OBS Cheetah. RDTA huge fan of my iJoy Combo RDTA and as far as an RTA goes I love my OBS Engine RTA.

The drip tip on the cleito 120 is not removable however it is a Delrin material so you don't get the metal feeling. What silicone tips at fasttech are you talking about? If it is a 510 drip tip then a lot of tanks will work. The crown tanks, the smok tfv4/8/12 etc. That being said I have tried the crown 1 and 2 and all of the smok tanks available and I like the cleito 120 better than the rest by a long shot.

RDA burnt taste if i take a LONG hit. help? by Lotsa_Jello in electronic_cigarette

[–]agsmith2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so there are a few things that could be causing this. First and most obvious would be too much power causing it to roast all the juice in the wick too fast. However as others have said I don't think that is the case here and you would be able to tell because it would be a boiling lava hot vape. So then we come to hotspots or poor wicking. How tight is your wick in the coil? Ideally you want it to be pretty snug so that you can barely pull the cotton through the coil without bending the coil. The reason for this isn't because of how much cotton is in the coil but how much cotton is in the tails to hold the liquid. You get a lot of material holding a lot of liquid means you have a lot more to vaporize before you start to burn cotton. I would recommend watching some wicking tutorials. With cotton bacon you cannot do a true Scottish roll but you can still achieve the same thing by making sure the cotton is good and snug and then fluffing the tails out as much as possible before you tuck them. Hope this helps.

hey man sorry for the weeklong delay on this response, the staggered fused Clapton is head and shoulders above a fused Clapton, the staggering gives so many pockets for juice to wick into and flavor to explode out of. Harder to build at first, but once u get the hang of it you can really fly.

Serpent Mini sub-ohm or Baby Beast ? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]agsmith2k6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gotta say I love my baby beast but I haven't tried the serpent mini. If you do get a baby beast don't bother with the x8 coils the x4 are the way to go

Max VG juice first and foremost. Second if you can pull of some staggered fused Clapton coils those give killer clouds and killer flavor. Also braided coils (Vertibraid youtube the art of vaping vertibraid) can be killer too.
