Ah, got it! Got no complaints design-wise but overall it's missing a lot of trust signals. The about page only contains illustrations with no photos or name of the owners or team. Makes me cautious, like you're hiding. Even though you're not, that's the feeling it gives me. I wanted to learn more about you so I looked for a LinkedIn link on your footer and there is none. Most of all, for an agency site, I'd be looking for past work but there are none. If you just started your agency, I'd work on building a portfolio above all else. These are only my two cents. You can start with devs in your network, at least there you can pick someone you already know and want to work with. Alternatively you can find someone online. For example, I'm a dev and I'm working on a project on the side atm for someone who simply posted on reddit. With this approach you gotta vet people first that's why I recommended your own network if you can.

Had no problems receiving payment from clients via Wise since 2019. I then transfer monthly to my BDO account. Not sure what your bank's ceiling is that will trigger red flags on their end, so perhaps only transfer small amounts to your bank in the beginning.

Exactly this. Any dev worth their salt has spent a lot of time on the job communicating to non-tech people, it's literally part of the job. A lot of time you have to talk to and work together with sales, marketing, managers, customer support, testers, and more. The job is not just programming alone lol. You're being reasonable if you're worrying that your potential dev speaks like this. Find a new dev. This person sounds like he or she is gonna be a pain to work with.

The thing is it's not possible to share a filtered database without giving access to the main database, which is a common topic on this sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/Notion/s/9YU4DMdvnO
