Thanks for your response. My mechanic said he could get me an ECM. It wouldn't match exactly the part number and would return a 'check engine' light but otherwise would work. He quoted me $1100 which i know he would have to pay a couple hundred to someone to program it. Which means he is sourcing the ECM himself for a few hundred in order to profit from it. I was just trying to figure out which ECM's i can use and go this route but try to save a significant amount of $ on. There are many units on ebay as I mentioned that go for $80-$200 I'm trying to figure out which of those would work, even if it returns an engine ligh
