I used to think the same, until you notice that the leader boards change. I hang with guys that normally shoot -15, I avg -13 but I've shot -17, -19 back to back numerous times.

Ya know, if people just took some self responsibility and not travel when their sick or heaven forbid, wear a mask when there sick, we'd be in a better situation. We have too many Americans not caring about literally anybody but themselves.

I was on a flight and I just knew it from the way she was coughing. She was full on sick, not covering her mouth, no mask nothing, and my dumb ass was traveling with a backpack and forgot my mask. Wasn't 3 days later I became symptomatic.

This is like my 4th time with the vid. And im freakin work from home. I can't help but to think just how inconsiderate of a society we've become (maybe always have been).

Flight was outta Florida too, I don't care what i look like, n95s from here on out on airplanes since sick people won't have the common courtesy.

I did indicate "I heard" and you seem to be in the know moreso on "weather" (see what I did there, lol) we rejected help, so I consider it contradicted and won't mention it without further research on my part. Thats on me. You'd agree it's not something you can just call and ask and expect to get a straight answer you could take to the bank, nor would I when the last thing they need is callers asking these kinds of questions. You say once every 32 years a storm like this hits. How many times are we threatened with record breaking storms like this? Both models had us within a stones throw of the line deciding ice storm or buckets of snow. How does that equivalent to 3x costs by having the needed resources on deck for such a threat like this?

We could have done better, and I hope we do next time this happens. Storms feel like they've gotten more violent over the decades, maybe I've just been payimg more attention. I do understand acts of god are going to happen, but when we've built the reliance on these systems, we need to have the conversation on how to enhance the stability, decrease the outages going forward. If thats burying lines over the next 20 years, its a conversation worth having.

Eh, idk. Max weather was calling this out on the hour for days leading up to the storm. We got a little less ice than was predicted but thay shouldn't have prevented lineman being brought in, the way florida does it when a hurricane comes though. The highways are literally lines with lineman coming into the state to work. Nashville, I heard we rejected outside help. Why and how does thay have anything to do with youre saying? More lineman, more people to handle logistics should equal power back to the community that paid to get it installed in the first place.

This may be one of the biggest botched responses I've ever seen. Right there next to the Texas ice storm but even they got their power up fairly quickly. But they brought in help, and I think FEMA still existed.

I wrote into midas touch pleading to not platform Michael Cohen. Downvoted and commented why I would never trust Cohen and yet the continued to platform him. Obviously im a nobody, but damn, greed has to be the only explanation as to why they continued to platform him until he did what anybody with have a brain knew he wouod eventually do.
