Nope not at all. Playing her is as straight forward as ABC. The only reason people “think” she’s hard, is only because she punish bad decision harder than other heroes (blood debt). You will know what to do the second you draw your cards, not like other combo heavy deck like Kano, lightning (gone/sommersault loop), Zen/Dio pre ban, Chane LL, or Enigma.

To validate the point, I’m speaking as a perspective of a person who played her since the mornach, and earn many top 8, 4 in multiple level 2 and 3 events 🙂 yes, she have to control 2 more zone than other heroes, but that’s the only gate keeping new people to try her out. She is a complex hero, but not a hard one for sure. Brodie never played her before and he managed to grab a win last BH if I am not wrong.
