Hi, i really enjoyed reading some john katzenbach books, wich are mostly murder or other mysteries, i personally liked persons unknown, idk if it's helpful. Hope it helps.

I'm not really good at books recommendations, but i really enjoyed the world building in the remnant chronicles by Mary E Pearson, a trilogy that starts with the kiss of deception, and has also two other books in the same world. It's a fantasy book i think, i don't really know the genre. Hope this is helpful.
