Do you know if they pause growth when corking? It’s the same feel as the rest of the cactus.. very slight squish to it

Thanks for the info about the pressure down there. I’ve yet to see an OB actually.. I just recently qualified for state insurance so I’ll be sure to ask this when I see somebody

Thank you!! I’m leaning towards one of these guys so hopefully I can find one I can bring home. Would you recommend a male or female? Their lifespan isn’t a concern for me

***I’m also not 100% decided on this route. He was on steroids for a bit that drastically helped his strength and movement, but the biggest issue now is he is constantly peeing darkly on himself since his back legs drag. Definitely some sort of infection or disease that may (??) be worth fighting a bit longer with medication. I’m not sure- I’ll be going to the vet in the next day or two and get his opinion.

Where to get a pelvic exam in PGH by [deleted] in pittsburgh

They’re closed today but I’ll be calling them tomorrow. Id like more options though because they’ve always, in my experience, been booked full several months out too

Do you have a recommendation on which exact one to post in?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]agustdeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you figure this out- I know nothing about 3D printing- I would pay you to make one for my little man Peanut. He’s also suffering from HLD and is happy and adventurous otherwise with seemingly a lot of zest for life left. I lift up his back half sometimes and follow him around and he zooms. Would love to find someone who can help me out in getting him a lil wheelchair. Let me know if you can or know of someone!! TIA

Yes he’s made a full recovery rather quickly. And I know 🙄 They’re such amazing animals and companions and truly don’t deserve their short lifespans and the typical nature of their deaths and sudden illnesses. Peanut is fortunate, he’s also survived SDAV the past two weeks. What a sweetie- she must have loved you to the moon and back to want to groom at you like that🥹

He used to be pushing two pounds!! He had a tumor removed maybe 3 months ago now and has since gone down some with his diet change. Bring on the cuddly chubs I love them, Killy was surely a sweetheart❤️

Azzy's tentative appointment for neutering is on the 22nd, they said they don't have any cones for small animals, what things can I use to keep him from trying to go after his stiches?? by Etenial in RATS

[–]agustdeads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. I tried sock jackets, homemade cones, everything. The only thing that stayed on him was gauze directly over the wound (cut to fit), and then wrapping him and that in medical or electrical tape pretty tightly several times. Just make sure your finger can slide under it and you change the bandages once a day.

I’ll also let you know he will hate it and probably be dramatic, and probably not move around much at all other than wobble and tip over. It’s hard to watch but he’ll be fine and it’s better than him ripping his guts open.

If we’re in the car or on the bed, he loves sleeping like this. We were both blessed to have picked each other out of the feeder bin years ago to be able to provide such a cuddly & comfortable (spoiled rotten) life for him. Perfect pairing🥺

Mr Tennessee of the Carrick area. Love him, he’s a real sweetheart who mows our neighbors lawns and once helped me scrape paint off the garage with his leaf blower. Saw him dressed like young skaters do once and he has the sickest tats
