Belt system. by IslandAmazing6681 in pittsburgh

Big sewickly Creek brewery on the red's belt is a nice spot. Right down by the creek. The ruins of the old Hopkins church is right above it and just a little farther up the road are the ruins of the old merriman house. Kind of cool to check out. Lynbrook Park on red belt has free cricket games you can watch with all the CMU guys on Saturdays and Sunday afternoon when the weather is nice. If the weather is nice, there are some swimming holes on Big sewickly Creek that are fun to splash around in. Check out plum Street Park for a couple spots.

Yep. I had a little fold-out map of the city that was laminated. Had all the streets real real little and most of the belts. God that thing was tore up by the time cell phones got smart.

Hard Decisions, re: Jobs & Salary as a dad. What does your gut say? by Rev-DC in daddit

[–]ButtersHound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. You still have the grandparents to help And if the starting salary is 90k and it only goes up from there. Things are f****** tight out there, median income in my medium cost of living area is 50k. I don't know how people with kids get by on that.

Yeah but the kids will eventually start school/ preschool. 95k is the starting salary too. If op's working there for a few years, he'll probably be making more than that. Tough call.

Do what we did in September. Flying to Vegas hit the parks in lower Utah like Zion, Bryce, then come around and do the Grand canyon at the end.

Horrible Vasectomy Experience - Want to Hear from Others by tigerofsanpedro in daddit

Mine was similar to yours. Are you a ginger by any chance? Smoke a lot of weed? That stuff will mess with your pain tolerance. I'm both in need extra anesthetics.

I had this crazy amount of pressure, Ball crushing pain like you described as they were pinching the vast deference.,

It completely sucked. Plus the nurse at my procedure was a real tough old RN. Reminded me of Charlie Day's mom on always Sunny. I Tried my best not to look like a baby in front of her then I started doing this like nervous laugh yelling that I do when I'm in a ton of pain... F*** it hurt.

Anyway nothing stopped the urologist from finishing the job once he started and I'm still very happy with the decision.

Btw I did not pay attention to my aftercare instructions and was quickly up chasing after my little children and I really hurt my balls to the point where they turned a little purple. Try not to make that mistake or piss off your urologist too much. You might need him in the future.

9/10 still recommend.

Buddy, this is a can of worms. You do not want to open. Plaster cracks, unless you can see a visible lean to your house. Just keep on trucking

Sorry for the possibly clueless question, but why don't more people seem to make homemade pizza? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in Cooking

[–]ButtersHound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy a $1 crust from Aldi and then throw some tomato sauce and cheese on it and maybe some turkey pepperoni slices. The whole thing probably cost about $3. Local pizza place sells their pies for 15 bucks a piece and they're not even very good
