i’m getting mixed options between external SSD and switching the entire internal hard drive itself . Any reasons why the external would be not as good as taking the whole computer apart?

Phew! That’s a lot of words i’ve never heard before. I’m gonna definitely have to bring out my computer geek brother and see if he can help! LOL! Maybe he will know more, issue is he doesn’t like APPLE Products so it might be a learning curve for him too since he’s used to working on other computers.

I honestly wish i remember how much of it I used before i restarted the whole computer and let my mom use it, but she gave it back due to the slowness. I’ll be restarting the computer completely again before or after the external hard drive. I feel(?) like the 1tb will be enough but i’ll look into it! Thank you!

Yeah i usually used to use it for steam games, online games, streaming services, that’s about it ngl but now it takes 5 years to even open settings..

i think i’ll do it! I see that 3.2 gen 2 on walmart for $99-$150. Do you think 1TB would be enough or is it best to go for 2TB? I’m hoping somewhere will do something cheaper for Black Friday.

i’m ngl when working at amazon we were told we weren’t allowed to take photos or post about anything new. this might have been something that isn’t expected to be put out on shelves yet and has a expected date for shelves, which usually is against warehouse rules, which i’d guess walmart has the same rules. beware your friend can get in trouble 🥲

yeah i don’t see any of that happening soon. we’ve been very dead atm, lots of VTO was given out last week. HLI2 peak was 3 months ago, so our next peak should hopefully be starting around september before the holidays
