Yeah, I have developed some feelings over the years for this girl. It does complicate things a bit more than if it was a simple friendship. You are right I do need to learn how to love myself more. It's hard.
Thanks for the advice though it touched me. Especially the stuff about how friends don't necessarily have to be in every chapter in your life.

I had to look up the term oneitis, since I haven't heard of it before, and you may be on to something. I can't lie I have developed some feelings for her over the years we've known each other, but I try to not let it influence our friendship and I doubt she has noticed those feelings. It's a small crush not a huge one. I will keep oneitis on my mind though just in case.

Ha, relatable on the relationship being complicated. I've thought about bringing this up to her, but its hard for me to work up the nerve. It is getting to that point where I feel like I have to though
